Hi everyone-
First, congratulations to all of you for an absolutely awesome race at our meet in Brighton this past weekend! 20 of the 33 Poudre Cross Country athletes who raced ran personal best times!! Our girls won the team title and our boys were second. Just as importantly, thank you all for supporting your teammates and being so incredibly positive. Whether you ran your best time or not, your coaches, teammates, and parents are proud of you! You are getting fitter by the week--if you continue to put in the work and trust in our program, yourselves, and each other, we are going to have an outstanding season!
Attached is information about our next three meets:
- The Husky Invite at Bailey HS in Platte Canyon (9/18/09)
- The John Martin Invite at Ft. Collins HS (9/25/09)
- The Sweetheart Invite at Loveland HS (10/02/09)
Each flyer has directions to the meet as well as time schedules for races that day. This week's meet in Bailey has no varsity or jv races, just one open girls' race and one open boys' race. So despite the long drive, we should be able to get home by 9:00PM at the very latest.
